Kast-A-Way Swimwear will begin taking pre-orders for the 2010 line of LZR Racers in the very near future! The LZR Racer Elite and LZR Racer Pro are the latest technical suits from Speedo that are FINA Approved for use under the new FINA suit guidelines.

The LZR Racer Elite is Speedo’s most advanced competition suit that remains in-line with the FINA 2010 rule changes. The main difference between the Pro and the the ELITE is the construction. The ELITE utilizes a fully bonded construction (technology that was pioneered in the original LZR Racer), while the Pro does not.

Furthermore, the LZR Racer Elite uses LZR Pulse fabric, while the LZR Racer Pro uses LZR Pulse II fabric. The LZR Pulse II fabric is marketed as a more durable version of the original LZR Pulse fabric (used in the original 2008 LZR Racer). The Pro’s non-bonded seams will hold up longer as well, making the Pro the less premium but more durable version of the two. Both offer a dynamic 3-D pattern and high compression.

will the fs pro be marketed the new lzr pulse fabric as well as the lzr pulse fabric it is all ready built with?
yeah it sounds like the fs pro and lzr pro are the same thing
These don't seem any different from the past pros
they have open back and are knee length only
Actually from what I've read, the FS Pro was not approved due to issues with the lining. This may be the modified version. Sucks if you have an FS Pro already, though.
The LZR Elite is different from the FS Pro, because the Elite's seams are bonded (like the old LZR Racer) while the Pro's seams are not.
I think its just going to be a newer version of the FS Pro. Unfortunately, its probably not going to be a whole lot better
DUDE FS PRO'S ARE CHEAPER AND LEGAL DONT LISTEN TO THAT OTHER DUDE
fs pros are legal, ive used one after the new rule changes and they didnt dq me or anything
what is the sizing?
[...] It comes down to the material that the suits are made of. The Elite is better than the pro based on what they are made of. Both are good suits but the Elite is slightly better. I think that speedo is just discontinuing the fs pros and replacing them with the lzr pro. the pros are still legal but i know for a fact that several swim shops are no longer carrying fs pros. probably because speedo stopped making them. that being said. if you want to drop from a 21.5 to under 21.0 with just a suit. get the elite, but if you have a lot of big competitions then get the pro because you’ll just end up paying for two elites for an extra .3 or .4 seconds in a short race or 3 or 4 seconds in a longer race. im getting the pro because its cheaper and lasts longer
