I wish I could go to a Speedo launch party/show, but I guess photos of the event from Speedo International on Facebook is the next best thing.
From the album description:
“Setting the trend for summer, Speedo models paraded the striking new suits from the LZR-Inspired, Aqua Active and Originals collections. The remarkable show appropriately concluded with the launching of the new Fina-approved competition suits including the LZR Racer Elite, LZR Racer Pro, and the FastSkin XT worn by the top national and collegiate swimmers led by 2009 SEA Games medalist and Speedo sponsored athlete Kendrick Lim Uy” (source).

What the heck is a FastSkin XT? Hmmm, I don’t think this is being marketed to us North Americans.

I believe that the XT is marketed other parts of the world as the Flying Fish. It’s basically a step down from the Elite LZR that we have here in the states, so you’re not missing out on much, except that I think it comes in crazy colors.
Thanks for the info Braden!
Is it just me, or does it seem like those models aren’t real swimmers? The suits look much better on Swimmer bodies, which they usually use at these big releases over here. Interesting decision.
wow the girls are real hot mwwwah.
he he super chics
@ Braden K: last time they used real swimmers as models. This time around, they just used them for the LZR and Fastskin collections. Interesting decision indeed since full suits would certainly look better on a swimmer’s body (heck even the 2 piece bikinis would look better on them in my opinion).
It’s too bad I missed this T_T, yeah, they look like models, swimmers don’t have the best bodies around, they have broader shoulders and flatter chest
