SwimPulse.net was launched July 26, 2009 after Garrett McCaffrey was let go from his previous home: FloSwimming.org. On September 1, 2009 it was announced that Garrett would be picked up by Swimming World and now works for SwimmingWorld.TV.
On September 1st, 2009 I predicted the eventual fate of SwimPulse.net (bloggers LOVE being right!):
“What will happen to Garrett’s intermediate site, SwimPulse.net? My guess is it will dry up and vanish, and Garrett will take all the ideas he wrote about in his latest blog post … over to SwimmingWorld.TV with him.” – EricT 09/01/09
Although SwimPulse.net had been quiet for some time, the site still hosted videos and interviews from the 2009 World Championships in Rome.

In the end, I think SwimPulse.net definitely brought something to the online swimming community – especially during the World Championships – but it seems the experiment has run its course. In any case, Garrett seems much happier at SwimmingWorld.TV.
